Ever had a spaghetti craving you just can't shake?

According to a new advertisement campaign launching across the London Underground next week, it's now possible to have breakfast in Margate and be tucking in to pasta in Milan by tea time.

International train company Loco2 has featured the route via London as one of the easiest trips across the continent.

Co-founder of Loco2 Kate Andrews said: “Sadly, like many of Britain's seaside towns, it suffered hugely with the arrival of cheap airlines and package holidays.

"So we’re thrilled to see that Margate is back in vogue and want to help more people appreciate the joys of the British coast by rail.”

We've had a look at five similarities between Kent's hippest town and the the Italian culture capital.
