The search is on for skin-heads and mullets, people with retro looks, or anyone with 80s-style hair to star in a big-budget movie filmed in Kent.
Oscar-winning director Sir Sam Mendes will be shooting his latest feature film at Dreamland early next year.
A huge sound stage is in the process of being installed at the Margate attraction, with production planned to take place between February and May.
Ahead of cameras rolling in two months' time, a casting agency has now announced a call for paid extras.
They are on the lookout for both men and women to star in the film, which will follow a love story set in an old cinema in the 1980s.
A call for extras from agency Two 10 Casting states: "Production are particularly interested to hear from anyone with fabulous 80s hair, grown out hair, skin heads/shaved heads (men and women), women with short hair, people with retro looks, mullets and fringes.
"If selected by the director, it is likely you will only be needed for a few days, so working as an extra would be easy to fit in alongside other commitments."
Applicants do not have to have any previous experience in the movie industry.
Those who make the cut will be paid for their work.
Two 10 Casting says filming will "take place near Canterbury", but with the 20,000 sq ft sound stage being installed at Margate, much of the production will be based there.
Academy award winner Olivia Colman is set to be the film's lead, and will star alongside Michael Ward, who plays Jamie in Netflix hit Top Boy.
Skyfall director Mendes, whose most recent film was the war epic 1917, will be the man at the helm of the project.
It will also be his first solo outing as screenwriter.
Those hoping to be an extra on the film need to make a profile on the casting agency's website.
The process should only take a few minutes, and applicants must upload a recent photo of themselves and specify where they live.
The agency could then get in touch with further information and to check availability for specific dates and roles.
All applicants must be aged 18 or over.
