Two albino ferrets have been stolen from the falconry centre at Quex Park in Birchington.

Head falconer at Falconry Southeast, Pete Hurst, says damage was done to gain access to the site.

The pair of male ferrets were taken on Sunday evening.

Mr Hurst said: "These are working ferrets and very approachable animals. But with a full killer instinct.

"If anyone knows of their whereabouts please let me know on 07975 880355.

"They are reported as stolen. Damage has been done to gain access to the site."

Police are investigating the theft.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a theft of two male albino ferrets from commercial premises in Quex Park, Birchington between 9.10pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, January 7."
