Firefighters called to blaze at Broadstairs home in Swinburne Avenue

Fire crews have been battling a fire at a home in Broadstairs.

They arrived at a property in Swinburne Avenue at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon to find smoke coming from a bathroom at the back of the detached house.

Teams wearing breathing equipment entered the building and used a hosereel to put out the blaze.
