Four people, including two teenagers, are in custody after police descended on a house following "a disturbance".
Police arrested the people in connection after receiving a call to a house in King Street at 1pm.
A police spokesman says officers are at the scene and carrying out inquiries after a group of people threatened violence.
One witness reported seeing around 10 cars outside the property.
Police say a 17-year-old boy, 18-year-old man and 22-year-old man, all from Ramsgate, were arrested on suspicion of public order offences.
A fourth person, a 43-year-old woman from Ramsgate, was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer.
A spokesman said: "All four people currently remain in custody while officers are continuing their enquiries into the incident."
But a spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance service confirmed paramedics had not been called to the property.
