Dreamland will not reopen following its winter closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been announced.
Bosses at the park in Margate say they are "heartbroken", with all events scheduled to take place at the venue also postponed.
The park has been closed over the winter period, and was due to reopen on Saturday, April 4.
Eddie Kemsley, CEO of Dreamland, said: "We are heartbroken to have to close our park just as we were about to begin our 100th anniversary celebrations, but the situation is beyond our control.
"Following the UK Government’s advice on public gatherings in light of the coronavirus crisis, Dreamland will not reopen for the Easter season
"The amusement park, Roller Disco and Octopus’ Garden will now be closed for the Easter season.
"All music events scheduled for the next six weeks will be postponed where possible. We are working closely with promoters to confirm alternative dates, and will update ticket holders by email as soon as possible."
The Camp Bestival park takeover originally planned for Easter is now likely to move to the summer - with exact dates to be confirmed.
At present, Dreamland bosses are not cancelling any events scheduled for the summer.
Eddie added: "We are incredibly grateful for the support the public has shown to us and to other local leisure and hospitality venues during this difficult time. We urge people to stay safe, follow Government advice and to support local businesses in Margate wherever possible.
"We are following and monitoring UK Government advice daily, and we are hopeful that the situation will improve before the summer season.
"We will update guests on our social media platforms on any changes and we advise people to follow Dreamland Margate for news from the park.
"We will update you on any changes when we receive them. We know this is a difficult time for millions of people, so please keep smiling, keep dancing, and keep safe."
There have been no reported cases of coronavirus at Dreamland.
