Police release picture following burglary in Northdown Park Road, Margate

A burglar said he thought he was in his friend's house after being confronted.

Police have now released a computer generated image of a man they would like to identify following the incident in Margate.

It was reported that between 8.15pm and 9.35pm on Sunday, September 1, residents at a property in Northdown Park Road found a man standing in their kitchen.

The man reportedly told them he thought he was in a friend’s house and left before the victim’s went on to find a digital camera had been stolen.

He was described by the victims as having black hair and long thick eyebrows.

People with information on the burglary, or who recognise the man pictured, are asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/174791/19.
