Three arrested after theft of charity tins in Newington Road, Ramsgate

Three people have been arrested after a burglary in which charity collection tins were stolen.

This happened at a business premises in Newington Road, Ramsgate, on March 11.

Police had been called there at 1.25am.

Yesterday morning (March 31) officers attended a property in Broadstairs and arrested a 28-year-old man from Margate and two men from Broadstairs aged 19 and 24 on suspicion of burglary.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "They have been released on bail until Wednesday, April 20, while enquiries are ongoing."
