The King’s Hall in Ramsgate has come back on the market just one month after the new owner bought the site.
Current owners, Stour Side Investments, is listed as the current owners on the Land Registry website after paying £145,000 for the property on January 7.
The property was since been listed for sale with Lovetts of Ramsgate with offers being considered in the region of £250,000.
Lovetts said the property is listed as a church and there is currently no planning permission in place for the site.
It is also reported that there has been a lot of interest from buyers in London, with several wanting to turn it into a venue for art and one wishing to expand his music school with it.
Another potential buyer is also reported to have expressed a desire to put accommodation in the upstairs of the property.
Lovetts also say that several buyers, who are not local, want to turn it into a community hall.
They added that this is an unusual, quirky building that doesn’t come on the market very often.
Original features of the King’s Hall include a cast staircase and the balcony with seating.
Tunnels that link the stage to other parts of the building, a kitchen and office unit, a bar and a lobby with seating areas are all part of this historical property.
Built in 1901 and based in King’s Place, was originally put on the market in May 2015 by trustees of the King’s Church in Ramsgate.
The church had held the property for more than 30 years, holding weekly services at the site until December of last year.
