A knife-wielding robber is being hunted by police after threatening a woman and running off with cash from a Birchington shop.

A man went into the Best One convenience store, in Minnis Road, before targeting the female staff member.

He demanded she hand over cash from the shop till, before walking round behind the counter and opening the till himself.
