Robin Hood’s escapades in Sherwood Forest take a surreal twist in a panto version of the classic story.
The show is being staged by Hart Theatre Company – performing arts students at Hartsdown Technology College – on December 14 and 15 for friends, staff and families.
The show has been devised by the theatre company team who have also build the stage sets, created costumes, music , lighting and effects.
Hannah Strobel takes the lead as the dashing hero Robin, with Laura Cheshire as his true love, Maid Marian.
Liz Bradshaw, leader of the performing arts faculty at the college, said: “The whole team has worked really hard to put this panto together and it is a lot of fun to stage. They are a terrifically enthusiastic group and this is shown in how well they work together.”
Staging the show is part of the students’ BTec coursework.
