Police appeal following report of indecent exposure in King George Memorial Park, Ramsgate

An investigation has been launched following a report of indecent exposure at a popular park.

Kent Police say a man is alleged to have exposed himself in the King George VI Memorial Park in Ramsgate on Friday (July 19) at around 6pm.

An hour later, a 39 year old man matching the description of the suspect was arrested in Seacroft Road - less than half a mile from the park.

He has been bailed, pending further enquiries until Thursday, August 8.

Officers are now urging any witnesses to come forward to help with their investigation.

A spokesman said: "Police would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that could assist with their enquiries."
