A search for a missing man from Margate has been called off.

It is thought John Startup could have been in the Cliftonville area of the town.

The 30-year-old was reported missing at around 10.40am yesterday (Saturday).

Police issued an update just before 10pm last night to say they were no longer looking for him as he had made contact with his family.
