Attack in Ethelbert Road, Margate, sees man kicked on floor

A man in his 60s has been knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked in a brutal attack.

Police have today released an appeal for witnesses, following the assault in Margate.

The man was reportedly knocked to the ground in Ethelbert Road by a man and a woman, at about 8.30am last Wednesday. (April 6).

He was then repeatedly kicked, before two members of the public intervened and the offenders left the scene.

The suspects are described as being between 5ft 3ins and 5ft 5ins tall.

Police are now seeking information about what happened, and are particularly keen to speak to the two members of the public who helped the victim after the assault.
