CCTV images issued after robbery in Ramsgate

CCTV images have been released after a man was pushed to the ground and robbed.

The victim, in his 50s, was approached by two suspects who forced him to the ground before stealing a wallet containing his bank cards in Ramsgate.

The robbery took place in Albion Place and unsuccessful attempts were later made to use the cards in local shops.

It happened at about 10.30pm on Friday, October 21, but details have only just been released after police inquiries, including obtaining footage from local businesses.

Officers are now able to issue CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

A spokesman said: "As part of their ongoing enquiries into the robbery, officers would like to identify and speak to the man pictured as he may have information which could assist the investigation."
