A man has been taken to hospital after being attacked along a seafront.

Police are investigating the assault after they were called to the Marine Drive area of Margate this weekend.

A man was found with injuries to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident shortly after 10pm on Sunday.

Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the assault.
