A woman reported missing from Margate has been found safe and well.

Elizabeth Colton had last been seen in the Lonsdale Avenue area of Cliftonville at around 10.15am on Thursday (February 1).

This evening, the 48-year-old’s family revealed she had been located in London.

They issued the following statement to KentOnline: “Liz’s family are overjoyed that she has been found safe and well near the London Eye at 6.02pm today.

“We would like to thank everyone that has been looking for her and the witness that came forward.”
