International artist Martin Cheek from Broadstairs has been commissioned to create mosaics with the help of local schoolchildren and their parents to enhance the Turner to Dickens walking route around Thanet.

Ten mosaics relating to Turner have been mounted on the exterior wall of Holy Trinity and St Johns C of E Primary School in Margate, which runs alongside the route and can be seen and enjoyed by walkers.

The Turner to Dickens walk runs between Margate Harbour and Broadstairs seafront, linking attractions including Turner Contemporary, Dickens House Museum and the historic village of St Peters.
