A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car.

Emergency services were called to the incident at 2.55pm yesterday in College Road, Margate.

Police and paramedics attended the scene and the biker was taken to hospital for further treatment.

The road was closed for more than two hours and reopened at around 5.10pm.
