Hundreds of movie fans are descending on Thanet today to see the stars and props of some of the biggest Marvel and DC blockbusters.

The Comic Con event is being held at Quex Park in Birchington, near Margate, giving visitors the chance to meet and greet some big names.

Among those attending are Spencer Wilding from Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars: Rogue One and Men in Black International; Lucy Jayne Murray and Simona Zivkovska, who both appeared in Black Widow; Leigh Gill from The Joker and Game of Thrones; and Clem So, who appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr Strange as well as Star Wars films The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

Also appearing will be Lexi Rabe, who is jetting in from the US to appear. She plays Tony Stark's daughter Morgan in Avengers: Endgame. Fans can pay for autographs and photos with the stars.

Lilly Aspel, who played the young Wonder Woman in the 2017 movie and its sequel has had to cancel her appearance due to filming commitments.

Those attending will also be able to see the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie, starring Michael Keaton, and the Batmobile from the 1960s TV show as well as pose next to life-size statues of a number of famous faces from films.

Replica props, artists and live music will also be part of the event.

Titan the Robot will also make an appearance. It runs from 11am to 5pm.
