Pair given first aid by fire service after garage blaze in Preston Road, Ramsgate

Two people required first aid after fire crews were called to a garage blaze yesterday evening.

Firefighters were sent to Preston Road, Ramsgate , near Preston Park, at around 5.30pm where they found a tumble dryer alight at the property.

Upon arrival crews from two engines used a hose reel jet to put the fire out.

The emergency workers then gave first aid to two of the occupants for smoke inhalation.

The blaze was put out just over an hour after the fire service arrived.
