Rape investigation after woman attacked in Northdown Park in Cliftonville, Margate

Police set up a cordon in a park after a woman was raped in the early hours.

An area of Northdown Park in Cliftonville, near Margate, has been taped off after officers were called at 1.30am on Tuesday, September 21.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man who is known to the victim.

He has since been arrested on bail, pending further enquiries.
