A burst pipe has left hundreds of people without water.

Southern Water has confirmed teams are working to fix the pipe which is affecting supply in parts of Thanet.

Residents in Broadstairs, Manston, Margate, and Ramsgate have either very low pressure or no water at all.

Bottled water stations are now being set up as the water company says the burst pipe will take some time to fix due to its location.

Teams are arranging alternative supplies of water to be delivered to their vulnerable customers as priority and traffic management will soon be in place to keep everyone safe.

Customers who have given their number to Southern Water, should expect to receive a text from them on the situation.

The water company has apologised for the disruption caused.

More as we have it.
