Pop star Peter Andre has been spotted at the seaside with film crews.
The Mysterious Girl singer was spotted in Ramsgate along the seafront, as well as by the boating pool and Military Road arches.
One fan, Bob Keehner, managed to get close to the TV star in a chance encounter.
"Well there is a lot of filming in Thanet for one thing or another and sometimes it's students from the local college, so I didn't pay much attention," said Mr Keehner, of Napleton Road.
"As I got nearer though I noticed the unmistakable Peter Andre.
"He was being filmed driving up in a lovely old Lotus classic and on exiting the car was being filmed along with his passenger greeting occupants of an old classic Mini.
"During a lapse in filming I crept over and said 'hello Pete' and he replied with 'hi' and put his hand out.
"I could feel the crew wanted to finish the shoot.
"We shook hands and I told him 'sorry for intruding but I could not resist as my wife Claire loves you so much'.
"He grinned and simply said 'no worries, it's when people don't bother any more that I've got a problem'."
During the shoot, Mr Andre was spotted chatting to antiques expert Paul Laidlaw.
Mr Keehner snapped photos of the 45-year-old singer and crews took a photo of him with Mr Andre.
"A class response from a class guy I thought," he added.
"Down to earth and found time for me even though he was working.
"Fair play to the film crew as they took the pictures of me with Peter.
"They probably wanted me gone to finish their filming before anyone else came along.
"My sister Jane is mad jealous as she's loved him since he released his hit record Mysterious Girl."
Thanet District Council confirmed why the TV star had been in the area.
A spokesman said Peter Andre and Joe Pasquale were filming in Ramsgate on Monday as part of the Celebrity Antique Road Trip programme.
Permission was given for them to use the car park on Marina Esplanade for part of their day's filming. They visited a number of businesses in the area looking for antiques.
The official broadcast date has not been released but should be in the winter before Christmas.
