Two arrested over robbery at Ramsgate bookmaker

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have made two arrests following a robbery at a bookmakers in Ramsgate.
Officers were called to the Coral betting shop in Newington Road yesterday afternoon after reports that two masked men where making threats to a member of staff.
It is alleged the pair were armed and demanding cash.
The victim was unhurt during the incident but a "large quantity of money" was reported stolen.
Door-to-door enquiries were carried out in the neighbourhood and police studied CCTV footage.
A police spokesman said today: "This led to the arrests of two men in Margate later that day.
"A 35-year-old man from Canterbury and a 33-year-old man of no fixed address have subsequently been released on bail, pending further enquiries."
They are due to report back to police on Thursday, September 27.
The robbery took place around 2.30pm on Thursday.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage which may have recorded the robbery or getaway vehicle.
