Police were called to the scene of a crash involving five vehicles on the A299 Thanet Way.

It happened just past the Herne bay turn-off at around 3.05pm.

It is understood the impact caused one of the vehicles to leave the carriageway.

A police spokesman said: "No injuries are reported and the road is open and officers are at the scene while the cars are recovered."

Part of the road was blocked while police recover the vehicles involved.
