A woman was taken to hospital after police were called to fight in Ramsgate town centre in the early hours of Good Friday.

The woman suffered minor injuries but was taken to hospital as a precaution, police said.

Officers have asked for any witnesses to come forward after the fight - said to involve three women - broke out in Harbour Street shortly after 2am.

Police said inquiries are ongoing into the incident and no arrests have been made so far.
