Police called to Camden Square, Ramsgate

Officers have arrested two men in connection with an incident in a park earlier this morning.

Police were called to Camden Square, Ramsgate, at 4.30am.

It is thought there were concerns about a woman who was seen in neighbouring La Belle Alliance Square park.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to concerns for the welfare of a woman in Camden Square, Ramsgate, at 4.36am on Thursday 16 November.

"Officers attended the scene, as did crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, and the woman was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

"At the scene two men are also reported to have been involved in a dispute and both have been arrested in connection with the incident.

"Enquiries remain ongoing."

A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We were called before 5am by police who were concerned for a woman's welfare at La Belle Alliance Square park.

"The patient, one female, was take to the QEQM hospital in Margate."
