Dramatic photos show the moment three men were forced to the ground by armed police.

Firearms officers were called to Northdown Road, Margate, yesterday at about 12.30pm after a car was stopped.

Three men were held at gunpoint and arrested on suspicion of assault and public order offences.

It comes as part of an investigation being led by Cheshire Police.
