Police are hunting a man who was allegedly caught performing a sex act on himself near a children’s play area in broad daylight.

Officers were called to Dane Park in Margate yesterday afternoon following a report of indecent exposure.

Reports on social media suggest the man performed a sex act on himself in bushes near the play area.

An investigation has since been launched into the incident and no arrests have been made.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 3.47pm yesterday to Park Crescent Road, Margate following a report of indecent exposure.

“Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, no suspect was located.

“Inquiries into the incident continue, including reviewing local CCTV footage.”
