Police in Ramsgate called to Park Road and South Eastern Road after 'groups armed with baseball bats' seen

Groups armed with weapons went face to face when a row between neighbours spilled out on the street.

Police were called to the altercation in Ramsgate last night with damage reported to a property.

Witnesses said 20 people were in the street and one said they saw a suspect wielding a baseball bat before police were called.

Officers are now investigating after two groups were seen with suspected weapons shortly before 8.45pm at the junction between Park Road and South Eastern Road.

Police were called soon after with officers saying the two groups are believed to have been from neighbouring properties.

A police spokesman confirmed inquiries into the incident are taking place.

No arrests have been made.
