Officers are appealing for information to help locate a man missing from Margate.

Police are concerned for the welfare of Richard Newing, 41, who was last seen leaving the QEQM Hospital in Margate in the early hours of Friday.

He is described as white with tanned skin, slim build dark short hair and around 5ft 9ins tall.

Mr Newing is believed to be wearing a black hooded jacket and black tracksuit bottoms with three white stripes down the side of both legs.

He was wearing brown shoes and may have some stubble on his face.
