An ambitious young entrepreneur is set to relaunch a popular pizza franchise in a town following its sudden closure.
Fast-growing firm Fireaway now has almost 70 outlets across the country and franchisee Harry Singh, 22, will be opening a branch in Margate.
He has recently launched Fireaway Ashford and is hoping to capitalise on its success.
The Margate branch was opened in 2017 but was closed down soon after launch due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
But the firm is now returning to the town, with Mr Singh telling how the brand has undergone a “huge development” since it was last in Thanet.
And he is confident the Margate shop will be “bigger and better”.
“Fireaway Margate is coming back to town and is the UK’s fastest growing pizza franchise at the moment,” he said.
“I am only a young 22-year-old entrepreneur and my Ashford store has been running successfully.”
The company aims to offer “fresh, healthier pizza” compared to other competitors in the sector with an “authentic twist” with special recipes from Italy.
“Everyone likes it as it’s a fresh concept,” he added.
“It offers something different to the big players and we don’t have your traditional pizza conveyor oven - it’s wood-fired.
“We have milkshakes and Nutella pizzas. It’s fresh ingredients and dough with pizzas cooked in 180 seconds.”
Fireaway Margate will be in the exact location as when it previously launched in 95 Ramsgate Road - taking over the current Henri’s Pizzeria.
They will be covering deliveries in Thanet which can be ordered via the Fireaway app or website.
The opening date is yet to be confirmed.
