Ramsgate lost to Ryman League Division One South rivals Sittingbourne 2-0 for the second time this season at Southwood on Saturday.

Manager Jim Ward was forced to field his third goalkeeper of the campaign after Conor Quinn, who joined from Gillingham in the summer, was dropped followed a number of costly errors.

Stand-in Danny Twyman is out after breaking a bone in his hand in the 5-0 win over Whyteleafe earlier this month, so Aleks Krunic stepped into the breach.

However, the ex-Margate youngster was powerless to stop Joe Horlock's scintillating shot, which set a confident Brickies side on their way to victory after 32 minutes.

The Rams keeper was rounded by Paul Semakula 12 minutes into the second half, leaving Ryan Golding to slot into an empty net.

Ramsgate are away to Leatherhead in the Ryman League Division One South tomorrow and continue on their travels this Saturday, when they play Dulwich Hamlet. Kick off at Champion Hill is at 3pm.
