RNLI called after boat becomes stuck in Viking Bay, Broadstairs

The lifeguard was called this afternoon after a boat became stuck on rocks along the coast.

A RNLI team rescued a small cabin cruiser that was trapped in Viking Bay, Broadstairs.

A passer-by captured the moment when the rescue boat arrived to help the stranded vessel.

It appeared to have been stuck on some rocks in the bay.

Crews attempted to help the people on it off and tow the boat to safely.

The RNLI have been contacted for more information.
