Kent Police attended the scene in Thanet Road in Ramsgate after two cars crashed.

A crash involving two cars temporarily closed a road in Ramsgate.

The incident took place in Hereson Road (A2555) at the junction with Thanet Road this afternoon.

Laura Wood was waiting for the road to re-open in the passenger seat of her partner’s car when she took a picture of the incident.

She said: “I saw the police shutting off the road and recovery trucks picking up the cars.”

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Police received a report of a collision involving two vehicles at 1.04pm today.

“Officers attended the scene to assist the recovery of a silver Toyota Yaris.”

The road was clear by 3.13pm and no injuries were reported.
