The hunt is on for a set of high-value gold coins stolen following two burglaries.
A 39-year-old man has been charged in relation to the two incidents at a house in Hardres Street in Ramsgate between 11am on Thursday, July 19, and 9am on Wednesday, July 25.
Watches, electrical items and collectable Krugerrand gold coins were among items stolen during both break-ins.
Investigating officer DC Leah Roberts said: "Following a number of inquiries we have been able to recover some of the items stolen but not the coins and they are of great sentimental value.
"We would ask people in the area to remain vigilant and call us if they're offered the coins to buy, or if they have any information about the burglaries."
Martin Ward, of Newcastle Hill, Ramsgate, was charged on suspicion of burglary on Sunday.
He was also charged with the possession of cocaine, cannabis and a knuckleduster in Ramsgate on July 28.
Mr Ward was been released on bail to appear at Margate Magistrates' Court today.
A 41-year-old woman from Ramsgate was also arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on police bail August 17.
