Police investigate sexual assault report in Boundary Road in Ramsgate

A woman has reported being sexually assaulted in the early hours.

The victim was walking alone down Boundary Road in Ramsgate, near to the junctions of King Street and Hardres Street, between 2am and 2.30am on Sunday, March 3 when she was approached by a man who touched her over clothing.

She managed to run away and was not followed.

The suspect was described as a white man with dark hair and was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and believes they saw something which might be of use to officers’ enquiries is asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/40765/19.
