Teenager arrested after boy's face cut in King Street, Ramsgate

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager's face was cut.

The incident happened in King Street, Ramsgate, at about 12.50am on Tuesday.

The boy had an altercation with another teenager who reportedly assaulted him.

He suffered a cut to his face and was taken to hospital for treatment - and has since been discharged.

A teenage boy from the Ramsgate area was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on police bail whilst inquiries continue.

Officers have now launched an appeal.

They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at around the time of the assault.
