Two people have been arrested on suspicion of more than 100 acts of graffiti around a Kent seaside town.

The 17-year-old and a 23-year-old were detained by police on patrol in Broadstairs, in Tippledore Lane.

They were arrested at 2.30am this morning on suspicion of criminal damage and are allegedly responsible for around 120 acts of graffiti across the town.

They are both from Margate and remain in custody as police continue their investigation.
