A GROUP of boys snatched a bag containing £85 and family photographs from a teenage girl in Cliftonville, near Margate.

The 16-year-old was walking in Clarendon Road when four youths ran past and one of them grabbed her lilac bag. They ran off towards Dane Park.

Police say the offenders are aged between 15 and 16 and all wore baseball caps and black jackets.

Anyone who witnessed the bag snatch at 2pm on Tuesday are asked to inform police on 01843 231055.
