Family and friends have paid their last respects to Natasha Sadler today - the mum at the centre of a double murder inquiry.

A horse-drawn hearse travelled from her mother's home in Margate's Cowley Rise to Thanet Crematorium, passing landmarks in the town including The Lido.

Floral tributes included a large arrangement in the shape of Kermit the Frog, a toy beloved by mum-of-three Miss Sadler as a child.

Her family described her as a "fun loving, loyal girl who lived for her boys."

Speaking to KentOnline, mum June said: “Natasha loved the colour green and she also loved her Kermit the Frog toy and had it since she was two years old.

"It has been a really hard time, nobody ever expects to lose their child and she was taken far too young.

“She used to absolutely love the Lido and spent a lot of time there."

Green was Miss Sadler's favourite colour and there were flashes of it on almost every attendee at the ceremony, from skirts and bags to ties, hairbands and scarves.

Natasha's family described her as a "fun loving, loyal girl who lived for her boys."

The 40-year-old was killed two months ago on a housing estate, alongside Canterbury fishmonger Simon Gorecki.

She grew up in Margate and attended Drapers Mills Primary School before moving to Hartsdown.

Foster Christian, 53 – who lived at the same address as Mr Gorecki – has been charged with their murder.

He was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of murder and two of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He is likely to stand trial this year.
