Two people suffered knife injuries when a group of men forced their way into a house.

Police are investigating after three thugs stormed a home in Crescent Road, Birchington, in a terrifying raid.

Items were stolen and two occupants were attacked before the gang left the building.

The incident near Station Road happened at about 8.15pm last Wednesday.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended the scene and an investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.”
