Margate: Two teenagers charged with possession of an offensive weapon

Two teenagers have been charged after armed police were sent to a disturbance where a man was reported to have been in possession of a firearm.
Armed officers were called to Arundel Road, Margate, just before 2pm on Sunday, September 10, but no firearm was recovered.
An 18-year-old man from Gravesend, an 18-year-old man from Margate and two boys aged 15 and 17 from Margate were arrested in connection with the incident.
Jordan Green, 18, of Danesmead Terrace in Margate has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The 15-year-old boy from Margate has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The 18-year-old man from Gravesend and the 17-year-old boy from Margate have been released without charge.
Mr Green has been released on bail and is due to appear in court at a date to be confirmed.
The 15-year-old boy has been released on bail and is due to appear before Canterbury Youth Court on Monday, October 9.
