Woman allegedly robbed by two men near Asda in Boundary Road, Ramsgate

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman reported being punched in the face and robbed by two men in Ramsgate.

The 36-year-old was walking down an alleyway between Boundary Road and Asda at 5.50pm last Monday when two men emerged from a gate.

The men rifled through her pockets and stole cash before running towards Asda.

The alleged robbery happened in Boundary Road, Ramsgate

Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: “One of the suspects is described as being 5ft 6ins tall and was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat and dark padded coat.

“It is believed the men spoke with Eastern European accents.”
