Woman falls from cliff in Ramsgate

A woman is being treated by paramedics after falling from a cliff.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the area on Ramsgate seafront shortly after midday.

A police spokesman confirmed officers are assisting paramedics at the scene.

They said: "Kent Police is currently assisting the South East Coast Ambulance Service at the scene after a person had fallen down a cliff.

"Officers were called to the area near Victoria Parade in Ramsgate at 12.22pm on Monday, May 20."

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance service says details about the patient are not yet available.
