Woman found dead in woodland in Watchester Lane in Minster named as Linda Brown

A woman found dead in woodland has been described as "one in a million" by friends.

The body of Linda Brown, from Birchington, was discovered in Minster shortly after 4.30pm on Friday.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious by police.

Writing on Facebook in tribute to Ms Brown, friend Tanya Palmer said: "So sorry to hear this, Linda was a lovely woman, always had smiles on her face. She was a good friend."

Another described Mrs Brown as a "true friend and one in a million".

A police spokesman said: "Police were called to woodland in Watchester Lane, Minster, Ramsgate at 4.33pm on Friday, March 1 following a report that a woman's body had been found.

"The woman's death is not being treated as suspicious."
