A woman has been hit by a car in Ramsgate.

The accident happened at 5.20pm in Hereson Road, near the junction with St Andrew's Road.

The woman, who is believed to have suffered an injured foot, was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Her injuries are not thought to be serious.
