A father found dead at a flat described as a "blinding" mate has been taken too soon, friends say.
Tommy Southworth's body was found on Wednesday afternoon at a flat in Cliftonville.
Police are not treating Mr Southworth's death as suspicious but a report is being prepared for the coroner after officers were called to the home in Margate earlier this week.
The former Marlowe Academy pupil - who was aged in his 20s - has been described as a "blinding best friend" and leaves a young son.
Friends have left tributes to the father sharing posts about him on social media.
Lewis Collard wrote: "He was a kind, genuine, generous geezer and a blinding best friend for years."
Jamie Ridgway said: "RIP bro. Taken too young. Much love bro."
Police and paramedics were called to the property in Northdown Road at around 4.15pm on Wednesday.
Ambulance spokesman Rich Airey said he could not confirm details about the incident but said paramedics attended the property.
A police spokesman added: "The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner."
