Pedestrian hit by van in Westwood Cross Shopping Centre car park in Broadstairs remains in critical condition

Police are seeking witnesses after a car crash in a shopping centre car park left a woman fighting for her life.

Officers say she suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital, where she remains in “critical condition”.

The collision occurred around midday on May 13 and led to the arrest of a 38-year-old man from Aylesford, who has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
